The Blue Lagoon Ritual
The Ritual is a cycle of wellbeing that highlights the Blue Lagoon's trinity of natural wonders: silica, algae, and minerals. Enjoy the spacious sanctuary and feel the rejuvenating powers of the volcanic earth.
Once you have enjoyed the blue waters of the Retreat Lagoon and opened your pores in the sauna, you enter the ritual chamber. In a spacious sanctuary of three interconnected chambers, you cover your body with the treasures of geothermal seawater.
Plunging rain showers are located throughout the ritual chamber and offer a replenishing cleansing between each step of the ritual.
Silica, the Blue Lagoon’s iconic white mineral, cleanses and strengthens your skin—giving you a fresh, pure, radiant appearance.
Blue Lagoon algae is extraordinarily dynamic. It renews, nourishes, and moisturizes your skin— opening the door to an enduring, youthful glow.
The Blue Lagoon’s uniquely potent array of minerals have energizing effects on your mind and body—exfoliating your skin and stimulating your circulation.
Once you have gone through all three chambers, you apply Blue Lagoon skin care oils to your replenished skin. We recommend relaxing by the fireplace for a while before entering the lagoon again so the oils can be fully absorbed into your skin.
